Boris Todoroff

Boris Todoroff (°1958) studied Classical Philology and Medieval Studies at the universities of Leuven (Belgium) and Nymegen (The Netherlands). He has published, among others, on Middel-Dutch mystical literature. His most recent book (in Dutch: Een verlangen naar eenheid: structuur en transformatie van de westerse mystiek) talks about the structures of mystical experiences, and the possible transformations of those structures throughout (mainly Western) history. This book follows the publication of an overview of Western mysticism from the early days till the modern period (published in Dutch: Laat heb ik je liefgehad).
