Question: How do you see your role in that process?
Nutterts: I think there are different roles in there, in a sense. I think in the first place it a process that I am involved in myself. It’s really about my passion, and what my life is about. So that is something.. it’s my joy at being part of that, and that is why I started to work also, because it was living inside me. In that sense it is an expression of something that I am doing, that is my biggest love in my life.
And then, because it is something that is important to me, I also want to share it with others. There is a sense of sharing it, and then it's more like you're a guide in a certain sense, like being the friend. The vajrayana tradition speaks of the friend, where you are travelling together with others, because you find something and you want to share it with your friends. So in that sense, that’s how I see it.
And there is definitely a guiding role in there, a teaching role... more like the role of a therapist. But it depends on what happens in the process, whether its more a friendship role, a guiding role,... and in certain sense you can have the role of guide, but the question is how my guidance is going to evoke the guidance that is in the other. It’s not so much about me being the guide - I am not a guru or whatever. But this is mostly what I am involved in and what I then share.
