Question: There are four different steps of bhava samadhi: we have low-subtle bhava samadhi, high-subtle bhava samadhi, low-causal bhava samadhi and high-causal bhava samadhi. This is a fairly novel idea, could you explain the differences between these four steps, and what the distinction is based on?
Marijs: The distinction is based on the idea that if you go above nature mysticism there are four more levels of existence. These energies are at different levels. There is another distinction and that is how big these energy fields are.
If a person has bhava samadhi on a low subtle level, then that person's energy field will be about two metres wide and something more than three metres high. So it is more or less egg shaped. If you go to a high subtle level bhava samadhi, then you have an energy field which is six metres in diameter. If you go to a low causal level bhava samadhi then the field is 14 metres in diameter. And at high causal, which is the highest form of bhava samadhi, the field will be 32 metres in diameter.
So not only do the levels give an indication of what bhava samadhi is - the different forms of bhava samadhi - but also the volume of the field. So these are different types of subtle energies which are concentrated around a person, and the volume itself gives an indication on which level the bhava samadhi is.
Question: Is this form always egg-shaped like in the low-subtle bhava samadhi?
Marijs: When you talk about aura fields, they are normally egg-shaped. When you have aura fields at a high-subtle level or higher, then these fields are concentric, completely round or sphere-shaped. So the egg-shaped aura fields are found at low-subtle level or lower-level aura-fields, which are not related to bhava samadhi, but rather with the emotions and so on.
